This page is for booking tintype-only studio sessions. If you're interested in working outside the studio, or using film, Polaroid, or a mix of processes, please email me at twowheelstintype@gmail.com to discuss options.

Booking Info

A $50 deposit is required to reserve your session and will go toward the total cost.
To receive a full refund, cancellations must be made at least 72 hours in advance.

Wanting to bring a pet?
Please email me before booking to make sure it's a good fit - pre-approval is required for animals.

Be sure to read the full session descriptions below for the most up-to-date details.

After booking, you’ll receive a confirmation email with the studio address and session details. If you don’t see it, please check your spam folder.

Remember, this is a chemical process dating back over 175 years, imperfections are to be expected. I will reshoot a plate if any of the following happen: subject(s) are not within reasonable sharpness, chemical artifacts are covering the face, there are exposure issues. If you "just don't like it," there is a re-shoot fee.

Natural Light Tintype - Travel Session

Starting at $150

A flexible, in-depth session offered in a variety of analog formats, designed to encourage creativity, play, and collaboration. Perfect for unique concepts, larger groups, or when working with kids or animals.

Available in-studio or on-location at a site of your choice. Local travel is included within 30 miles, beyond 30 miles requires an additional fee.

Session Details:

1 tintype portrait per time slot
Sizes & Pricing:
- 4x5" – $150
- 5x7" – $190
- 8x10" – $230
For each additional plate:
- 4x5 - $50
- 5x7 - $85
- 8x10 - $120
Professional scans not included (optional add-on)
- Digital Scan - $10

Important Notes:

Max group size: I recommend no more than 3 faces per 4x5 and 5 faces per 8x10
Infants and pets discouraged, but allowed if you're feeling lucky — please notify me in advance if bringing a pet
No custom setups — backdrop is predetermined
No reshoots unless technical issues occur

Fast-paced, 30 minute tintype sessions designed for quick, one-of-a-kind portraits. These are one-shot-only images, made with a set backdrop and no reshoots - unless there's a blink, chemical issue, or equipment malfunction.
